Charge Description Master and Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG)Charges

Important Information About Exeter Hospital’s List of Current Standard Charges and Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) Charges

Machine-readable file

Per CMS final rule (CMS-1717-F2), the information provided is a comprehensive list of charges (gross charge, payor name, payor-specific negotiated rate, de-identified minimum and maximum negotiated rate, and discounted cash/self-pay price) for all services and items Exeter Hospital provides. This is posted on an annual basis. This list does not necessarily reflect what a patient ultimately pays for services and therefore may not be a helpful tool to estimate their out of pocket responsibility or to compare hospital costs. Patients are encouraged to contact their health insurance carrier for details about out of pocket cost share amounts. Because these rates are updated periodically, patients should contact our Price Estimate Line at 603-580-7605 or visit our online Patient Charge Estimator at https://www.exeterhospital.com/patients-and-visitors/Exeter-Hospital-Patient-Charge-Estimator for information about the out of pocket cost of your care.

CMS regulation also requires hospitals to make available 300 shoppable services. A shoppable service is a service that can be scheduled by a patient in advance.  To access these services, a payment estimator tool is being provided to patients to obtain an estimate of their out of pocket cost share.  Please visit our online tool at https://www.exeterhospital.com/patients-and-visitors/Exeter-Hospital-Patient-Charge-Estimator.

If you are uninsured or self-pay, you must contact our Price Estimate Line to receive a Good Faith Estimate.
This website will not provide a Good Faith Estimate.
