About Us

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Department of Exeter Hospital is committed to offering the highest quality care to children and families in the community. Our goal is to provide excellent patient care experiences by engaging families in the treatment process and responding to specific needs and preferences. Customer focus is central to our success while providing technically superior and compassionate services.

Pediatric Rehabilitation therapists provide evaluations and treatment designed to facilitate development of, and/or restoration of, skills to enable children to reach their full potential in activities of daily living. Our goals include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation and treatment of children who have delayed development, physical injury, or illness, within the outpatient setting and through contractual agreement with local schools.
  • Integrated services and coordination of care
  • Family education
  • Clinical consultation to providers, families and school systems

For children from birth to 21 years of age, our therapists specialize in treating a wide range of neurodevelopmental and orthopedic needs, including:

Meet our Pediatric Rehabilitation specialists:

Physical therapists – assist children in functional mobility and independence at home, at school and in the community.
Occupational therapists - work with children to participate in the activities of his or her daily life.
Speech therapists - help children achieve functional communication skills to meet their social, academic and personal needs.
