Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians teams raise more than $3,000 for Heart Walk
Three teams of walkers from Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians participated in the American Heart Association's Seacoast Area Heart Walk on Hampton Beach, raising more than $3,000 to help the AHA in its efforts to fight heart disease and stroke. Physicians and other caregivers from Exeter Hospital cardiovascular services, cardiac rehabilitation, 4-South telemetry and Core Cardiology joined with their patients for the three teams, walking either the one mile or 2.5 mile route.
Exeter Hospital Emergency Dept. Receives Donation
Kindergarten students from Kensington Elementary School recently made a donation to Exeter Hospital to buy teddy bears for children who are treated in the Emergency Department. Roger Bailey, RN, Director of Emergency Services also received a book of drawings from the students.
New to running? The Athletic Performance Center of Exeter Hospital is offering a training program to get individuals ready for the Trick or Treat Trot in October. Talbot's in Stratham, NH invites you to an evening of shopping and refreshments on Thursday, September 11th from 3pm to 8pm. 10% of the proceeds from the event will benefit The Beyond the Rainbow Fund which provides financial assistance and support to Exeter Hospital cancer patients in need. Join us and help support those who may be facing one of their biggest challenges; a cancer diagnosis.
