Inpatient rehabilitation services are provided by licensed professionals either in the patient’s room or in the rehabilitation department.  Your provider may refer you to rehabilitation services for physical, occupational or speech, language and swallow therapy. A primary goal of inpatient rehabilitation services is to recommend a plan for rehabilitation upon discharge from the hospital.
