The Center for Breast Health
The Center for Breast Health is dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer and committed to offering women a comprehensive and caring approach to breast health.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in American women; one in seven women is at risk of developing breast cancer. Breast cancer is apporximately 100 times more common in women than it is in men. While there are many risk factors that you cannot change, such as your gender, your personal or family history, your genes, race or ethnicity, there are things that may lessen your risk for developing breast cancer. Eating a low fat diet, being physically active, avoiding exposure to tobacco smoke, and getting preventive breast health screenings are all options you may consider.

Mammography can find a breast cancer long before it can be felt, making it the best method for breast cancer screening.
