The Infusion Center at Exeter Hospital provides comprehensive services for patients undergoing outpatient therapeutic intravenous procedures.

The center treats patients Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m. Treatment, for acute and chronic illness which require intravenous and injection therapy, is performed on an outpatient basis.

Medications most commonly infused are those for the treatment of:

  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Ulcerative Colitis
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Varying neurological and autoimmune diseases
  • Antibiotic, hydration therapy and blood transfusions are also performed in the department.

The center is staffed by registered nurses who specialize in infusion therapy.  During treatment patients benefit from reclining chairs with individual flat screen televisions designed for their comfort. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 580-7990.
