Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians are excited to expand patient choice and increase access to quality, comprehensive health care services to Epping area residents in one convenient location at the Epping Regional Health Center. The new facility is located at 212 Calef Highway (Route 125) in Epping, NH and is now open for patients.

The operating affiliates of Exeter Health Resources mission is to help improve the health of the communities we serve and we look forward to supporting this mission by providing innovative, progressive, patient-centered care at the new facility.  Epping Regional Health Center has been  constructed with a patient-centered design and support functions in a modern, eco-friendly space. The space design incorporates lean principles for maximum workflow efficiency and allows flexibility for changing models of care in the future.

Grand Opening Day

A grand opening was held at the Epping Regional Health Center on April 13.  More than 700 individuals stopped by to tour the facility, meet staff, enjoy refreshments and participate in activities!

 

 


Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians held an official ribbon cutting ceremony at the Epping Regional Health Center on March 26.  Attendees were offered tours and an opportunity to get a sneak-peak of the new facility before it officially opens to patients on April 2.  An official public grand opening will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 10am to 2pm.

Opening remarks at the ribbon cutting were provided by: Kevin Callahan, President and CEO, Exeter Health Resources; Thomas Gauthier, Epping Chairman of the Board of Selectman; Brian Campbell, Vice President of Ambulatory Services, Exeter Hospital; Roxanne Touchette, Vice President of Clinical Operations, Core Physicians and Mark Whitney, Vice President of Strategy and Community Relations, Exeter Health Resources.


Project Update 

Construction of the new Epping Regional Health Center is on schedule, and the site has been completely transformed over the past month or so.  The following is now complete:

  • Foundation/floor slab
  • Rough grading for the parking areas and site drainage
  • Water and sewer line connections — both tested and approved
  • Plumbing into the building
  • Underground utilities (electrical, telephone/data) into the building.  The utilities are now being installed and the building should have power within the next month.

Next steps include erecting structural steel columns and beams, with exterior wall framing expected to being before the end of August.  Epping Regional Health Center is expected to open in April 2013.

 

 


 

Groundbreaking

 

After months of very detailed planning, a ceremonial groundbreaking was held on March 27, 2012 that marked the official beginning of the construction phase for the new facility. Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians were honored and proud to share this special occasion with town residents, neighbors, town planning board members, town selectman, fire department staff, police department members and community constituents. Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians are excited to further expand patient choice and increase access to quality, comprehensive health care services in one convenient location.
