Resources for Older Adults

Here at Exeter Hospital we understand the needs of older adults living in our community and are committed to providing resources and information that will help you age well and live life to the fullest. Call our senior friendly resource center at
580-6668 and get the answers you need.

Newcomer information - If you are new to the seacoast area call 580-6668. Operators are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm to help you find the services you need:

Transportation - There are several transportation options for folks living in the seacoast area who are unable to drive: Exeter residents over the age of 60 may purchase a packet of taxi vouchers for $10. The twenty vouchers are used with Academy Taxi. Vouchers are available at the Parks and Recreation Department. For more information call 773-6151.

Another great service is TASC. Rides are provided that help seniors and other transportation dependent individuals throughout the seacoast. For more information or to request a ride, call TASC at (603) 926-9026.

Volunteer opportunities - Exeter Hospital has a wonderful volunteer program that offers older adults a chance to give back. Contact the Volunteer Service Coordinator, Anne Marie Harris at (603) 580-6331 or aharris@ehr.org for more information.
