Osteoporosis Prevention

Prevention is the first step in protecting your bones from osteoporosis. Calcium, vitamin D and exercise form the basis of a good bone health program.

        1. This free service is available to anyone who has had a bone density DEXA scan at Exeter Hospital in the last two years.
        2. Our bone health consultations consist of a 30 minute one on one education session to address your specific bone health needs.

        4. Our bone health educators are part of a multidisciplinary team and consist of nurses, physical therapists and an exercise physiologist.
