Benefits

Exeter Health Resources and its operating affiliates are proud to offer supportive and collaborative work environments. Our outstanding benefits inspire our employees to be compassionate caregivers. Specific benefits and eligibility requirements may vary by company but in general include the following:

Medical Insurance

Our medical insurance plan features no annual deductible and modest co-payments and has been carefully designed to preserve your freedom of choice while managing overall costs. You decide where to receive your care - inside or outside of our EHR-Affiliated network which allows you to control your out-of-pocket costs.   The majority of the premium is paid by the organization, with employee contributions paid on a pre-tax basis.

Wellness Credit Incentive Program

This voluntary program encourages employees enrolled in our health insurance plan to attain certain wellness targets so they may lead healthier lives. Attaining these targets qualifies employees for a per pay period discount off the cost of your health insurance premium. Discounts are also available to covered spouses who attain wellness targets.

Dental Insurance

We offer a comprehensive dental plan including 100% coverage for routine diagnostic and preventative care; 80% coverage for minor restorative services and 50% coverage for major restorative coverage.   The majority of the premium is paid by the organization, with employee contributions paid on a pre-tax basis.

Vision Discount Program

This program is offered in conjunction with the dental plan and gives you access to over 30,000 vision care providers (including optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians) nationwide at 16,000 locations. This program is accepted at the nation's leading optical retailers including Lens Crafters, Pearle Vision, Sears Optical and Target Optical.

Life Insurance

Basic life insurance and accidental death/dismemberment coverage is provided at no cost to you, in an amount approximately equal to your annual salary. You may choose to purchase additional coverage at group rates. In the event you leave the organization, you may be able to convert your coverage to an individual plan at non-group rates, or at preferred rates with evidence of good health.

Dependent Life Insurance

Several options are available for spouses and children to age 26. In the event you leave the organization, you may be able to convert the coverage to an individual plan at non-group rates, or at preferred rates with evidence of good health.

Short Term Disability & Long Term Disability

These disability programs are designed to provide income replacement in case of illness or non-work related injury.  You may choose from different levels of coverage.

Retirement Savings Programs

Options and eligibility vary depending on affiliate and program, and include pre and post tax choices such as a 403b plan, 457 plan, and a cash balance pension plan.

Earned Time (vacation, holiday, and sick time plan)

We offer a generous earned time accrual plan with length-of-service increases to reward longevity. You can pre-elect to cash in earned time once per year that will be earned in the upcoming year.

Flexible Spending

Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to redirect a portion of your salary, on a pre-tax basis, to pay for qualified, unreimbursed medical or dependent care expenses incurred during that plan year. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations prohibit changes once enrolled, unless a qualifying event occurs.  Flex spending plans are also subject to IRS rules on forfeiture of unused funds.

Tuition Assistance and Educational Programs

Reimbursement is available for undergraduate and graduate courses which are job-related or lead to a job-related degree. Prior approval is required, and enrollees must achieve a grade of “C” or better to qualify; reimbursement percentage is determined based on scheduled hours.
Extensive educational opportunities are offered, at no cost, in both classroom and on-line formats.
